Media Ignore EPA Suppressing Of Skeptical Global Warming Report |

Media Ignore EPA Suppressing Skeptical Global Warming Report | "The day before the House was to vote on a controversial energy bill destined to be the largest tax hike in American history, it was revealed that the Environmental Protection Agency had suppressed an internal report challenging the entire global warming myth.

Despite the importance of this study, and how it related to a debate about to ensue on the House floor, its existence and suppression went almost completely ignored by America's media."

More Political Payback From Obama: NBC Helped Elect Him

Loophole Helps GE Benefit From Bank Rescue Program: "General Electric, the world's largest industrial company, has quietly become the biggest beneficiary of one of the government's key rescue programs for banks.

At the same time, GE has avoided many of the restrictions facing other financial giants getting help from the government.

The company did not initially qualify for the program, under which the government sought to unfreeze credit markets by guaranteeing debt sold by banking firms. But regulators soon loosened the eligibility requirements, in part because of behind-the-scenes appeals from GE."

American Thinker: Michelle Obama's Patient-Dumping Scheme

American Thinker: Michelle Obama's Patient-Dumping Scheme: "The First Lady helped create a notorious program that dumped poor patients on community hospitals, yet the national media ignore the story. Imagine if her husband were a Republican.

The University of Chicago Medical Center has received agood deal ofjustly opprobrious press over its policy of 'redirecting' low-income patients to community hospitals while reserving its own beds for well-heeled patients requiring highly profitable procedures. Substantial coverage was given to a recent indictment of the program by the American College of Emergency Physicians. ACEP's president, Dr. Nick Jouriles, released a statement suggesting that the initiative comes 'dangerously close to ‘patient dumping,' a practice made illegal by the Emergency Medical Labor and Treatment Act, and reflected an effort to ‘cherry pick' wealthy patients over poor.'"

Gerald Walpin Fired by President Obama

Maggie's Notebook: Gerald Walpin Fired by President Obama: Inspector General Walpin Fired: "he Inspector General investigating AmeriCorps and other national service programs has been fired, and may have been fired for revealing misdeeds involving thousands of taxpayer dollars by an Obama supporter. There's more: the way in which Obama handled the firing may have flown in the face of current law.

Inspector General Gerald Walpin reported that Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, an Obama supporter and former NBA Basketball star, and St. HOPE Academy, founder, a non-profit group, received hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal grants and used the monies illegally or in a wasteful and abusive manner. St. HOPE eventually repaid the government more than $400,000.00."
